Fundraised for, planned and founded The Salvation Army Open Music School in Oslo, giving children from all backgrounds the possibility to learn to play an instrument. Through a combination of public grants and private sponsorships we were able to offer scholarships to students from families with limited financial resources.
Work as a freelance pianist, keyboardist, arranger, composer. Wide-ranging experience as a keyboard player, musical director and/or arranger for a variety of ensemble types + for recordings, broadcasts, tours, major corporate and church-related events.
2012-2016 head of cultural events at The Norwegian Seamen's Church / The Norwegian Church & Cultural Center in Manhattan, NY. The Church's sanctuary and the Trygve Lie Gallery are venues for 40+ concerts, gallery exhibitions, performances and talks per year. The Church holds Lutheran morning services every Sunday. The NSC aims to be a home away from home for Norwegians abroad in a social, cultural and religious sense.
Among the responsibilities of the Cultural Director: booking and long-term planning of events and weekly programs, facilitating performances and concerts, fundraising, both generally and specifically for larger events, maintaining and updating donor database + online and print communications.
Since 2016 work as program director and booking at Kulturkirken Jakob, Norway's most unique concert and event space in cooperation with with KKV (Kirkelig Kulturverksted).
